Cancellation and Refund Policy – Waimakariri Pottery Group

Please read this policy carefully, especially before submitting a refund request.

Please Note: Your enrolment or booking is only confirmed once payment has been made.


Cancellation by Waimakariri Pottery Group

From time to time, we may need to cancel a class or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, we offer the following options:

  • Before the course/workshop begins: You will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your enrolment to another class or workshop.
  • After the course/workshop has started: Your enrolment will be transferred to another course or workshop. Refunds will not be issued in this case.
  • Missed classes due to WPG’s cancellation: We will aim to offer a makeup session at a later date.

Cancellation by the Student

If you need to cancel your enrolment, please notify us in writing at
info@wpg.nz
at least 7 days before the course or workshop start date.

  • You will be eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administration fee.
  • Deposits paid to hold a space in a class will also incur the $50 fee if cancelled.
  • If you cancel less than 7 days before the course begins, unfortunately no refund can be offered.

Class Absence

We are unable to offer makeup classes, refunds, or credits if you miss a class for any reason. It is your responsibility to attend all sessions as scheduled.

Cancellation Due to Covid-19 or Other Disruptions

If classes are unable to be held in person due to Covid-19 restrictions or similar disruptions:

  • We will offer alternative online lessons via video tutorials or live sessions when feasible.
  • We will do our best to reschedule missed sessions.
  • Refunds are not available for cancellations or non-attendance due to Covid-19 restrictions.
