Shaping Clay Since 1968

Welcome to Waimakariri Pottery Group
Creating with clay and community since 1968

We’re a friendly, inclusive club for potters of all levels—whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience behind the wheel (or slab!).

Join us on Tuesday mornings or Thursday evenings to connect with other makers, share ideas and techniques, get inspired, and talk all things clay.

And if you drop in on a Tuesday, don’t miss our legendary shared lunch—it’s a great chance to catch up, meet new members, and enjoy a relaxed, creative vibe.
